Emsculpt left me burn marks

I did a session of emsculpt for $69 and it burnt my skin. 3 months later after using scar gel everyday and the marks are still there. Did the treatment to feel more confident but it did the opposite. Owner blamed it on me for letting the staff put it on the highest setting as i felt fine. As a customer how was i supposed to know that it was going to burn me even though i just felt heat, which what the whole treatment was about?
