Sometimes it's the little things that make a good vet great. I've been relying on Eric Board and Associates to help me care for my pets for many years. Starting from the first examination right to that heart breaking final injection... with so much in between. Today, was Spey Day for our latest puppy. She came through it beautifully. But with no car, I was concerned about wheeling her home through the heat in a dog pram. "No worries," said the compassionate women at Eric Broad's office. We'll drop her home to you". And so they did. Talk about going the extra mile to provide a truly caring service! For this and so many other reasons, I can't speak too highly of my local Vet - Eric Broad & Associates.

I wish to thank both Vicky and Ricky for helping me through the terrible task of having my cat, "Boo" put to sleep on Saturday the 2nd. of June, this year.

Vicky, the vet was absolutely fantastic and really had Boo's interest at heart. The was no hurry and she was so kind to Boo, even to the extent of giving him a light sedative to calm him before the final injection. I have never experienced a situation before where a vet showed such compassion when performing such a terrible task.

Ricky, the nurse that was also on reception that day also went out of her way to make the initial 'phone call as easy as it could be, and made the whole time at the vets relatively bearable.

Personally, I think ladies should be used as an example of how such a heartbreaking time should be handled by vets everywhere.
I am just sorry I did not know of this veterinary surgery before that day as I would have had all our past animals treated here.

On a final note, thank you Vicky and thank you Ricky for your compassion and assistance to both Boo and myself.

I have been using Eric Broad as our vet for over 20 years. He is so knowledgeable about animals and is genuinely concerned about their welfare. We take out dogs at least yearly to have them checked and for their vaccination however it's not just cats and dogs which interest Eric as we have also had him to our horses, sheep & goats

I use this vet as it was an emergency for our pup. They were such an amazing help, They had no problems rushing us through, and they kept me informed every step of the way with what was happening with our sick pup. I highly recommend.

I was new to the area so used this vet after reading some online reviews. Disappointing experience.
I waited 45 minutes past the appoint time due to two emergencies. I totally understand emergencies have to go in as they come. My appointment was for 11:30am. The receptionist told me the first emergency came in at 8am, that bumped everyone along. Perhaps calling people to let them know to come in a little later would prevent wasted time hanging around waiting.This made me late for another appointment (I would have rescheduled if I had some notice).

When we were finally seen the end result was that they sold me a case of special food with absolutely no instructions on the cans or by the vet of how much to feed our dog. When I rang back, the receptionist had to call me back with the relevant information. This resulted in my dog losing 10% of his body weight in a week. I was also sold special shampoo and conditioner that I later found elsewhere at a much cheaper cost.
Our dog was put on medication for two weeks. I was told to ring back and let the vet know how he was going. I did ring back and let the receptionist know of my concerns as the food and medication didn't seem to be helping, the vet was busy, I was told he'd call me back...that was eight months ago...still waiting.
I'm glad others have had positive experiences with this vet, I personally would not recommend going here.

Best Vet I have ever met. My dogs get so excited about going to this Veterinary Clinic! All of the staff are lovely and welcoming. I will never go anywhere-else now. I have total trust and confidence because they value my family's (dog's) welfare just as much as I do.

The most dedicated, hard working vet I have ever known, researches all his cases, goes up at all hours of the night to check on patients, you will not find a better vet in all the world. Highly intelligent and knowledgeable in most vet fields.

The most professional vet clinic, they treat your animals and yourself with care, I wouldn't go anywhere else, they know exactly what to do and best of all my pets now like going to the vet
