Movies are a regular, today we went to watch Snow White and the Huntsman but they had techinical difficulties and the movie was delayed by a good half hour. what was dissappointing was that they only came to check 30 mins later. :(
Approximate cost: $8+
Pretty good cinema depending on how busy they are sometimes you do have to wait a bit to get served but thats to be expected. It can be pricey if you buy snacks there think thats the only down side but the employees are always nice.
The cinema service is good for me when I attend off-peak hours or I buy tickets online to avoid waiting in long cues. There are always discount vouchers that can be obtained from other organisations which help in saving money. Without using organisations, buying tickets in the cinema centre has become expensive. The price keeps rising.
Good cinema experience, good seating, clean, and better yet, the cinema rooms are warm! No need to bundle up over winter as you do in most cinemas.
great cinema location i like the self service thats available but more registers needed to be open to make it quicker as the lines were very long
Approximate cost: $60.00
The service here is pretty bad. We went to the gold class cinemas where you would expect the service to be great! Our food did not come when we ordered it and we had to remind the waiter to bring it out. Despite this, the cinemas are great, the chairs are huge and comfy and it is a fun experience and way to see a movie!
Approximate cost: $25
always love to watch movie at this cinema because it is so close to the train station and shop at westfield right after the show. clean seats, love the Vmax theater too.
Approximate cost: $18
east to find. nice clean cinemas. no popcorn on the floor. close to railway station. .Its now even more affordable to take the kids to the movie for a treat.
Event Cinemas (formerly known as Greater Union) are modern, well equipped and huge.
There is V-MAX, Silver Screen, Gold Class and regular options and each is priced accordingly. The Gold Class has a beautiful pre-movie lounger, suitable for cocktails and nibblies, and the (approx) 18 seat cinema is plush and comfortable. The seats electronically recline and everything is very comfortable.
V-max is great for 3D movies and there is also very nifty little tables (much like a lecture theater) available to put you drinks, snacks and popcorn on.
Unlike the old days, hot food it now available at the Candy Bar to take into the cinema with you. This food is average, but the nuggets and chips are ideal to keep any child happy.
Prices are competitive and all the new releases are showing, with the (very occasional) art house film popping up for a day or two.
Approximate cost: $16
nice close to the station, mondays are a special price, good eateries close by and close to my home if I want the exercise to walk
