Carmen was 10 minutes early and had all her documentation, which was great (we were not expecting to see it as we are used to our usual baby sitters). Carmen was very approachable and the kids (2 under 5) liked her. Carmen reported on a couple of antics of the kids that showed that they were relaxed. The kids were happy the next morning.

I had minor problems with the booking process and confirmation (it was my first time) although I was travelling. The date misunderstanding was quickly clarified.

It is not cheap, but it is a professional service (EAS find someone for you, provide your time and address details to the carer, and make payment). I will happily use EAS again when I am stuck for a baby sitter.

Linda our babysitter was fantastic. She arrived about 15 minutes early (the kids weren't even home yet!) and we went through all the basics about bed time, dinner, baths etc. I didn't feel any need to ring and check in and Linda didn't contact us at all during the evening.

Will absolutely recommend to a friend. Although more expensive than our usual babysitters, the fact that Expect A Star do the search and place a sitter with the family is really helpful and worth the extra money. Other sites, where you pay a registration fee, are fine although you have to do all the ground work in trying to get a sitter that is available on the day/time and often I just don't have the time. It was great to just get an email saying that Linda was coming.

I needed a babysitter on a Friday evening when my regular babysitter called up sick 2 hours before I was due to go out. The service from Expect A Star was exceptional. The person I spoke with was extremely helpful and explained the service to me in great detail, happy to answer all of my questions.

She got back to me within 20 minutes of me to calling to confirm who my babysitter would be for the evening. Sally the babysitter was amazing, she clicked with my two little ones straight away and I felt completly comfortable leaving them with her. It was probably a little more expensive then other babysitting companies, but the service provided and how easy it was made up for this. Happy to recommend.
