Beautiful fabrics and dress designs. The staff seemed helpful and knowledgeable. Would use there services again.
I have used this shop three times.
All three have meant I have had to listen to one of the ladies at the shop swearing and yelling at people over the telephone while I shopped. It is horribly unprofessional.
They do not offer choices - they inform. They do not listen - they tell.
This shop was an absolutely dreadful experience, and I will make every effort to never have to go there again.
Very surprised by your comment Annee1 - i regularly shop there and all the staff are lovely and polite . I find your comment ???? considering that you found the first time the experience was unpleasant , why would you go back another 2 times ?????If that is what you say so....
I have been a loyal customer for years at this shop and clearly by your other comments you have made regarding another fabric store you are bias .
Hi Janeb6. Honestly, I only went back because I had to. I went there to buy the fabric for my wedding dress - I am not a sewer, and was under the instruction of my cousin (who made the dress), and she said they had the best range. She had met their rudeness before, and after my first visit she said she had had similar dealings with them. The lady on the phone who was yelling and swearing was particularly prominent with a four letter word that begins with 'F' - it could be heard throughout the shop.
I am glad you have had pleasant dealings with them, but there is no way that I could ever recommend them, and now that I have discovered Gardams, I have no intention of ever going back.
