Gym facilities are good and they have them updated, I especially love the swimming pool outdoor, the water is pure, fresh and it feels nice swimming outside, however wouldn't recommend for women to swim indoor around 7-8pm night time because the water is very unclear, you couldn't see anything under water unlike in the morning or noon, and you could see all types of dirt down there, also you might even taste the water a bit salty... They have friendly staffs and you could ask for help anytime, a tennis room at the back, dance room, sport court and a children aqua play ground. 1 showering place for the pool and one for the gym, I love using the gym one because it's bigger and you could adjust the water level the way you wanted, not press and go like for the pool.

However, here is some cons, once you signed up with their 1 or 2 year membership, you're stuck with it, unless you move somewhere far away, or having a really hard time attending or paying the gym, you have to prove it by writing to their manager and paid a one off $150 fees to get out, moreover, their overdue fees are way very expensive, it is nearly equal the amount you pay your membership fortnightly, not like $10 you used to know at other gyms, it is $24. It gives me the impression that the gym operating by that fees as well. The steaming room is a small unisex room not female, male separate.

So if I have to give a recommend to have a go at it, don't go for a membership there yet, try their 30 days program or if they offer flexible program just join it and shop around with other gyms, as I know there's plenty out there which might be a bit more expensive but if you look at their terms and condition you might find it more easy to get out and the late fees are not overpaid. Or if you want to use the swimming pool only, get the passes package, just don't bother with membership if you're not using gym or their exercise program.

This leisure centre has many facilities including an outdoor 50m pool and an indoor heated pool. The environment is clean, the outdoor pool is cleaner than the indoor. Can become very packed in the summer holidays (you may have to wait to use the showers)

I come to this place just for the indoor heated pool- for my swimming exercises, and then to the steam room to sweat out all my toxins from my body. Upon leaving I always feel fresh and rejuvenated- all under $10

The staff at Fairfield City Leisure Centre are very helpful and friendly. The exercise classes are good and the trainers there are more than happy to give you tips on how to improve your health and sense of well being.

This leisure centre was revamped a couple of years back and the results are fantastic. Whether you're after a personal trainer, a good workout in the gym or a leisurely swim in the pool, this centre has it all. The facilities are kept clean, the staff are friendly and the rates are what you'd expect at any gym. Worth a try.
