As an avid WOMO user, I had read all the fantastic reviews for Fancy Burger and have been wanting to eat here for a long while purely on the basis of these reviews. Well, I finally did it and got take away from here recently.

The quality of the burgers was as good as everyone has said. The meat was very good and all the ingredients were fresh, tasty and delicious. I was pleased to see the beef was South Australian and the egg was free range. The chips also tasted as good as the other reviewers said - and I'm a big chip fan!

However, I have to say that I was a more than a little disappointed by the lousy service. The staff were not smiling and looked tired and unhappy. I waited more than 20 minutes for my food once I'd placed the order, even though it wasn't busy. I ordered my burger without relish and the staff member who was serving me was good in repeating the order, making sure she got it correct. Despite all this, they got my order wrong. You guessed it -they still put relish in my burger. Of course I didn't discover this until I got home and dished it up. By this stage I was too frustrated and felt I'd wasted enough of my time and energy already to go back and complain.

The cost is expensive at $17 for a burger and chips and more than what I expected. Although maybe I would have been more understanding of the cost if the service had been better.

Overall, I was very impressed by the quality of the food but very unimpressed by the service and value. I am honestly in two minds as to whether I would go back here again and whether I would recommend Fancy Burger to other people.

I was glad that I've spotted this shop on the newspaper review on burgers as my bf is a big fan of em'. It has a special variety of cool flavours which I can't remember at the top of my head however I'm very happy that they had jz opened one shop in rundle street hence I don't need to travel that far to have it. Yeepee!

Since that i am a burger freak, i went there to try thier burger under the recommendation of "the advertisers".I tried the 'facncy that" I have to say that the beef patty is juicy and the veg is refreshing. the sauce inside the burger is nice and taste different from other burger shops. It is quite busy during lunch time, but their service is still quite good, and they cooked the burger to perfection! yummy =)

The burgers at Fancy burger are tasty and made of quality ingredients. The chips are excellent! The vegetarian burgers are fabulous and I'm a big fan of the chicken burgers. Sadly I found the beef burgers a little dry. Overall I'm really happy to have such a great burger place in Blackwood! Definitely worth the cost as they are so much better than the burger chains!

We got burgers from here for dinner tonight and I must say they were very nice and I don't feel "yuk" like I normally do after eating a take-away burger!
Their quality is obviously well known because they were very busy but that didn't stop them from getting our burgers made reasonably quickly.
We both ate "The Biggy" and were impressed with the taste.
Recommended as a great alternative to the mass produced burger places. You get what you pay for

Really fresh, well made, quality food here. We were served with a smile and just fell in love with the food it was sooo tastey and a real change from the normal processed burgers many places sell. Highly recommended for a yummy well made meal. worth every cent!!

Love this place! It is excellent and the bugers are simply brilliant. Well made and simply delicious!! We go quite often and also has a great range of different burgers like Lamb & gourmet burgers.

We couldn't have asked for better service than what we received at fancy burger. You could tell that the gentleman who served us took real pride in his work. He was warm and friendly and explained the options to us in a fair bit of detail. The burgers were sensational and well worth the cost. This is a great business that I'm sure will enjoy great success in Blackwood for years to come!
