This is a great restaurant, great food (with daily specials) and service and they can always accommodate regulars, even though it can be bursting with families early evening. There's the nonnas in the kitchen you can see them handing out the plates next to the pizza oven at the back, and the guys in front at the pizza oven or on the floor are very friendly and welcoming. I first ate here almost a decade ago, and was immediately hooked. And despite long absences in between visits, nothing ever changes – the food is still fantastic, the service dependable, and the ambience wonderful. This quaint Italian restaurant certainly offers a memorable dining experience – upon entering, the first thing you notice are the chianti bottles dangling from the ceiling. The interior is comfortable and cosy, and there is a good view of the guys at the pizza station, incredibly adept at what they do. Book ahead, as the place is generally packed.
