This is a small shop squeezed in along busy Chapel Street with a brightly coloured window sign stating that they are a Fish and Chips and Chicken bar, also says processed chemically free on the window. I presume they are talking about the chickens with that statement.

The food here was quite nice but nothing memorable. The chips were definitely the highlight of the meal - more like chicken shop chips than fish and chip shop chips, if you know what I mean. The serving was generous in a small white cardboard box for $3. The two potato cakes were not so nice. In fact, there were potato cakes and other snack fast foods in a "hot box" and these looked far nicer than the two which were cooked for the order. But not expensive as they only added another $2 to the cost. Didn't have any fish or chicken, so can't speak for the quality of that.

What was the stinger was the drink - small bottle of coke for $3.80. Should have asked before hand about that.

There are a couple of tiny tables on the street and a bench/bar with stools in the window for eating in.

It was an adequate snack and hit the spot, but don't think there will be a return visit here since there are many other choices along this stretch of road.

The chips are fresh and crisp, which is what I prefer. Other than that, the quality of the food is not necessarily special but definitely what you would expect. The prices seem to be cheaper than expected and serving size of meals seem at least slightly generous. On my recent visit the staff were very polite and patient in taking my order and were keen to start preparing it straight away. I ordered a kid's pack because I wanted a light meal, but the serving size was so generous I needed to share some of my meal with my friends. I also had an extra dim sim added to my meal which was not part of the pack deal, but I have no idea whether this was deliberate or an accident on their part.
