Fishbone

I am hooked on this great fish and chippery in Brunswick. Cooked in 100% cottonseed oil and cholesterol free is definately a bonus. The first time we tried Fishbone i was really suprised at how great this food was for a fish n chips shop. The shop is so so clean and the staff are very friendly and very helpful. My partner and I wanted to try something different so i chose the Healthy pack, which consisted of steamed rice, vegies and two lamb skewers. The lamb was so tender i was so amazed at the quality of the meat. They definatley have not used any short cuts there. My girlfriend had a battered Barramundi, scallop, tempura and a vegie homemade springroll and she said that the food was really really great. We both have had a great experience at the fish shop and will without a doubt be returning. Keep up the great work guys and thank you for always being so nice.

Hi my name is caroline and I have recently come across this fabulous fish and chips shop. I have lived in Brunswick for almost 4 years and only till last week did i come across this great Fish shop that is exceptionally clean, modern and offers great food. With such a choice of food on offer I decided to go for the Healthy pack, which consisted of steamed rice with your choice of vegies or salad ( 1 went for Vegies), with a choice of Grilled fish , or 2 Lamb Skewers, or 2 Chicken Breast Skewers. I chose the 2 Chicken Shewers. I decided to eat in. WOW! i was so amazed at not only the presentation of my meal but at how fantastic it tasted. The chicken was cooked to perfection on a char grill, it had the great BBQ taste to it. Keep up the great work guys your food is one of the best i have come across and I will definately be spreading the word around.

I have to say that I have recently moved into the area and came across this fantastic fish shop that is extremely clean, sensational fish and chips and great value for money. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. I will definately be telling all my friends about this outstanding fish shop.

The fish is of decent size, delicious and crispy. The chips are chunky and crispy as well. The burgers are fabulous...big...with fresh ingredients. This place is often packed with people and the staff are often flat-out but still smiling. Phone ahead to save yourself the trouble!
