I booked the tickets from Brisbane to Prosperine (Whitsundays). The actual price for the airticket was 75 AUD but the agent included their booking charges and made it to 118.50 AUD. Almost more than half the original price of the ticket. Dont go on their talks when they show the screen to you or talk nice goody thing. This is the second time [redacted inflammatory comment] After the first time, I stopped going to any of the flight centre store. After a long time I thought of taking the quotation from them , and they gave very lucrative quotation, which if I had booked personally would have costed me more. So the next day, thinking that being agents they get internal discounts on the accomodations through exciteholidays site which is exclusively for Agents, I went to their store to book the tickets, and the agent told that "the Airflight tickets have gone up so your price will increase .Though the hotel prices has also increased by 400 aud but I will give you the same price as yesterday". So I said ok, in that even she cannot do anything if airline provider's rate has been increased, atleast she is giving me the hotel price at the same rate. But after paying for the tickets, when I came back, i checked the prices of the airlines, as I noticed she increased the rate for DayTrip Also by 1 dollar. And I found the huge difference in the prices of airline tickets where online I was getting for 75 Aud but the agent gave for 118.50 . Upon contacting the airline directly (Jetstar) they told that they cannot do anything if the agent charge the booking fees and how much booking fees they charge is upto the Agent only.

[redacted inflammatory generalisation] Now I am never going to go to the Flight Centre again.

I tried to make a complaint at Head office Flight Centre Customer Relations and for my complaint to progress I need to give the name of the Travel Consultant and my name. They said for my complaint to progress I have to leave the name of the travel consultant and my name. I did not want to do that as I am scared to leave the travel consultant name and for privacy reasons did not want to leave there name and my name. I wanted to do an anonmous complaint to the store but Flight Centre head office refuses to do that. It is not fair.
