You know a supermarket is good when you're disappointed you no longer live local to it.
This is by far one of the friendliest supermarkets I have been to. The staff are always polite, helpful and quick to open registers to relieve even the shortest of queues.
While not the largest supermarket in Adelaide, the range is comprehensive, and importantly, local produce is clearly labelled, as is anything that is Australian made.
The specials are consistently good, the store is clean and well stocked, and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.
The best supermarket I've been to in Adelaide, and certainly one that the larger chains could take a lot of lessons from.

Fantastic service at this supermarket. Friendly staff who will always open a checkout if there are customers waiting. The other supermarket chains could take a lesson from this business. Good range of brands and products, and some really good specials every week, especially on meat.

I have been shopping here for nearly 20 years, and even though they don't have quite the range of goods that bigger stores have, they DO have a good range and more than make up for their slightly smaller size with their friendly, helpful staff - can you believe if the checkouts are busy they ALWAYS open up more - you never, ever, wait long for a checkout. They will order in items especially for you, package meat to your requirements, their deli section has very fresh and top quality smallgoods - all around a sensational place to shop.

this is our local supermarket. we find them very friendly all the staff which is rare in the supermarket. they have a great range of products and we find their prices much more competitive than elsewhere.

Great staff, great value products and always great specials. If you go at the right time you can get very cheap meat that has been marked down. easy parking.

I do my shopping at Hope Valley foodland regularly and always have a positive experience.
If I want an item that is on special, and they're out of stock they provide me with a raincheck to get that item next time and even offer to call me when it arrives.
The staff are very welcoming and kind and go out of their way to help you find whatever it is you're after. They're quite knowledgeable.
They also have excellent (long lasting) deli meats and fresh fruit and veg.
I will continue to shop here in the future!

They even provide Home Delivery. $4 over the phone or $7 if you come in and pick out everything you want over the phone.

Have to agree with others. Great staff, well presented and a pleasure to shop there. So what if your shopping costs a couple of dollars more - it's worth it. Staff are fantastic with the large nos of oldies that shop there.

just a great place to shop.competitive prices,great specials,very helpful staff and a very easy to get in and out carpark.always clean and if stock is out they go out of there way to get it in as soon as possible.
