I have just completed my orthodontic treatment with Footscray Orthodontics and my entire experience was beyond my expectations. I was hesitant at my age to have braces but the staff were very caring, efficient and very professional. Most importantly the end result is that I can smile confidently and have achieved the outcome I had hope for. Nevanka you are a wizard at your craft.

We have been going to Nevanka for 4 yrs now, It takes us 40-60min to get there and is worth every minute. The staff are so friendly and gentle, Nevanka has given my 2 daughters beautiful smiles and has even been supportive to myself when i have felt frustrated with the process of my daughter not wearing her plates. The fact that my daughters look forward in going to Footscray Orthodontics is a credit to Nevanks and staff. Payment plans are offered with great assistance.

To be honest, i'm not really certified to be a legitimate reviewer, since this has been the first time I've ever been to an orthodontist before. But hey, I'm voicing my experience here.
The staff at Footscray Orthodontics are top notch, they're not the kind of people who just focus on getting the job done, and then just say "That'll be X amount of dollars, see ya next time!" These people make you feel comfortable, they try their best to make sure you don't feel awkward while they shove sharp dangerous instruments in your mouth, and instead make you feel at home while working on your 'perfect smile' that's another point I'd like to make also, the staff here are remarkably swift with their work, some procedures literally take minutes and are very informative in regards to telling you the best strategies to help ease the burden(?) of braces.
In short, these girls are pretty good at what they do.

I started using Footscary Orthodontics in the middle of my treatment. I was referred by my previous orthodontist in Canberra. I had the invisible lingual braces since 2012 (the one that attached to the back of the teeth) and took me two and half years to achieve the best result. My braces never got broken, they were pretty strong since the custom-made metal braces were attached to every tooth. At the beginning, it felt very wired but didn't take long for me to get use to them. Sometimes the wire at back scratched the tongue but you could always contact Dr Tadic to fix it. I think the best thing about the invisible lingual braces is IT IS INVISIBLE! All my friends couldn't tell that I was having treatment. So I think it is ideal for adults that care more about the appearance during the treatment.The overall experience in these braces are quite comfortable. However, they were a little bit hard to clean. You need to put extra effort in cleaning them. I recommend using "Piksters"(little brushes in different sizes) to clean between your teeth and braces.
During the whole treatments, Dr Nevenka Tadic was very friendly as well as the other staff! They were always there to help. Recently I took my braces off and put on retainers. I can clearly see the difference and I am very happy with the final result! Thank you so much, Dr Tadic!

So I started seeing Nevenka Tadic from about 2011. I went in with a 10mm overbite so I was given an expander to wear for a fair while. I was then moved from the expander to braces. The journey was made comfortable by Dr Tadic and now, in March, I am brace free. I now have a retainer to wear all day everyday and a retainer for nighttime. If I could stress anything to anyone receiving braces... WEAR YOUR ELASTICS! They're crucial, they'll speed the process up so much more. Yes, there was a fair bit of pain but I cannot thank Dr Tadic and crew enough! The staff are super welcoming and friendly, they're very helpful and I would definitely recommend Dr Tadic to friends and family.

I am a patient and I also work there as well for my work experience. The girls working in the practice are extremely friendly and helpful. I noticed after a few months having my braces on, i could see how straight and perfect my teeth have become. If your teeth are crooked or you have misaligned bites, they can fix it. They give you the choice to decide what you want to do with your teeth rather than forcing you to do it their way.
I recommend anyone who wants to get their brace done to go there. I guarantee you that you won't regret it. :)
