Very sweet cosy little café transformed from a milk bar as a knew it in my younger days. Adventurous menu always keeping up with the times. Great range of sweets & cakes also - all delicious!
A really cosy local cafe, that serves good honest food in generous portions and with a perssonal touch and smile. Nothing fancy schmancy, but lots to love about it.
I ordered the big breakfast which comes with eggs, toast, sausage, bacon, roasted tomatoes, mushrooms and spinach. Also ordered the Boston baked beans on the side as well. Th beans came with crumbled feta which added a nice sharp note and the spice blend on the beans was really good. Not sure if they are really Boston Baked Beans though. The rest of the breakfast was great. The scrambled eggs were perfectly creamy, the sausages had a nice flame-grilled flavour, and the mushrooms were lovely and juicy. Can't wait to go back!
Nice coffee. Love the decor of the place and that's it's a bit of a hidden gem. Staff are nice, however last time we were there they forgot to put our food order in. Compensated with free coffee. Always very busy and lots of mums and bubs!
Have been to this cafe a few times before. It has converted from a milk bar. This visit I was a bit disappointed with the hot chocolate I ordered. Although it was nicely presented it was bordering on cold.
On the plus side they have a good range of muffins and light lunches. Decor has also been done very well.
