what happened? I work close by and regularly grab my lunch & a coffee but... The last few weeks has been terrible. Poor service! Disgusting coffee! & don't even get me started on the food. It's gone from nice little lunch cafe to low budget tuck shop! Won't be giving this place a third chance.

Approximate cost: $15

Went to check out the new Liquor Shed in Jandakot a couple of weeks ago and did a bit of shopping at the Spud Shed while there. Also then had a late Breakfast at the Francesco's Cafe. although the brekky was delicious and plentiful we found it was only Luke warm which was the only disappointing thing about it. Perhaps because we were a bit later in the morning but the staff were very welcoming and the service was very efficient. The venue was very clean and so were the amenities i used on leaving. They had a huge range of food including cakes etc to choose from and reasonably priced too. There was this huge mural on the wall which I when I asked it was explained that it was the family history of the owners and that the cafe was in fact named after the dad of the owners. Wow what an awesome tribute. I will definitely be back to try another meal very soon.

First visit was coffee and cake after shopping in the supermarket. Coffee was excellent and a good selection of different cakes from what is usually on offer. Second visit for the $12 pasta night yummy. Good size portions and fresh tasting, of course we had to have the coffee and my favourite ferrero rocher cake. Third was the roast, thought the waitress was never going to stop putting food on the plate. Also had the cooked breakfast one Sunday morning. Speaking to the owner he suggested we share a plate but not believing there would be enough got one each. Wrong, should have listened to the advise and just got a bit extra toast. Am going for the $12 curry tonight and introducing friends to our new favourite place and know we will not be dissapointed. And of course the delicious coffee and cake to round off a wonderful meal. Staff are attentive but not over bearing. Place is clean and tidy. Atmosphere is relaxed and unhurried.

I went here with a friend on a Thursday for the $12 pizza's. We were quickly greeted by the friendly waiter/barister/owner? and shown to our table. I must admit I was a little hesitant when i walked in.

This place is hardly fine dining and in fact looks like a massive lunch bar or food court, but the addition of table service was a pleasant surprise so we ordered. We ordered a caeser salad and a pizza to share and a couple of beers (yes it's licensed!!) to wash it all down.

We waited a short amount of time sipping our beers before the pizza and salad came out. To be honest the pizza could have spent a little longer in the oven as the cheese wasn't that lovely golden colour and the base was a little soft but the toppings were quite tasty and we were quite hungry so we tucked right in.

The winner was the caeser salad. I often order a caeser salad at various places and am disappointed. Their caeser salad had a nice mix of dressing, crispy bacon, capers, anchovies, cos lettuce croutons and parmesan and was of decent size.

Our bill was about $35 and I'm looking forward to coming back to try the $12 pasta night.
