This place has a reputation in the area but when I tried it I was very underwhelmed. The pizza wasn't great and the staff were rude

Food is average. I think the staff are quite rude. Often it takes ages to be served. My kids like the pizza therefore we’ve been their a few times at their request for birthdays etc but I wouldn’t recommend it

We had a booking at another restaurant for Valentines Day, but unfortunately had to cancel as the city was a nightmare, traffic everywhere, it was a stand still.

We were starving and popped into Franks Pizzeria for our Valentines dinner, the service was fantastic, we were greeted as soon as we walked in, they toke us straight to a table, the service was so friendly and helpful.

Our meals arrived really quickly, and was made to perfection, the brushetta was delightful the first crunch into the bread was AMAZING. We loved it, the pasta was devine, the pizza was great, and the dessert was fantastic.

We were so impressed, we will be back with the kids and rest of the family.

Approximate cost: $51.00

I've been eating at Franks for the past 7-or-so years, I used to grab a wheelchair & escape the confines of the RPA maternity ward for a trip to Franks.
I'll never forget the first time I decided THIS was the place to eat, we were wandering along looking at menu's & poking our heads into the local eateries & nothing took our fancy... nearly a block away I stopped & sniffed - WHAT IS THAT SMELL? YUM! We followed the divine waft all the way to Franks (old address) & haven't stopped enjoying the delicious pizzas.
In the past few years the oven changed, the premises changed & the menu has been added to - but the food remains as delicious as ever. NOBODY does a pizza base like them.
A forever favourite xx

Approximate cost: $16

I have been coming here for years and the pizza is consistently good. They do an exceptional margherita pizza and the supreme is also excellent. Great pizza base. They have been around as long as I can remember - more than 20 years which is and absolute testament to their excellence. Really is consistently one of the best pizza options in the area.

Cheap food is all that this restaurant really has to offer. Food is really hit and miss - average pasta and pizza. Probably the gelato is one of the good things here.

Service is terrible, it takes ages to be served and all the meals come out at different times. Staff are often rude and they rush you out if it is a busy night.

I totally agree about the staff being rude quite often, it deters me from going.

Franks Pizza Bar is great to go to for dinner with family and friends because it is cheap. They have a wide selection of pizzas and pasta, all very well-priced. However, the service is fairly average, and the meals often do not come out at the same time so you need to keep chasing the staff. Overall, restaurant is very family orientated, and is the prices are great value for money.
