We normally have great meals here but yesterday we were very disappointed with two of the meals. One the chicken was not cooked, over half the meat. It was still raw and uneatable.
My meal was snapper, asparagus, potatoes and hollandaise sauce. The fish was dry and overcooked. The potatoes were small and very few. The asparagus was overcooked and dry. The hollandaise was one spoon full. The meal was like a child serve even though l had paid alot more than everyone else. I did have 3 pieces of garlic bread which l shared with 4 others. The cost was $41 for the meal with members discount.
It was like it had been put in the oven and everything had shriveled up with the heat. We had to wait a long time to get it compared to others so maybe they had forgotten about my meal?
I don't think I've had a worse meal like that for ages. I was very disappointed. My other two friends were happy with their meal which they paid alot less for. It really put me off coming back there.

Approximate cost: $41.00

The food here is reasonably priced and pretty good quality too. I ordered the salt pepper calamari and I'm so glad I did because it was really delicious and well cooked. The staff are friendly and help you find a table. Also the service was pretty quick even though it was during the busier times in the night, which was a pleasant surprise.

a stock standard rsl, with the casino, bar & restaurant and conference rooms

food is actually pretty decent and it's actually family friendly given that there's a casino

The Place is massive and always busy, there was 4 of us and we didn't book and it was a tuesday night 2-4-1, and we had to wait, but they did about 400 covers and it was understandable to wait. the food was great, we had to wait, but was very busy, had a bottle of great wine and was very happy with the service, Wnedy and her team do a great Job. will always book in future.

Approximate cost: $33

I've been here several times. As far as RSL clubs go this is a very stylish modern venue. Extensive renovations at the back of the club were completed only a month or so ago and boy have they done well.
This new area is not used for functions and you cannot book a table which I think is great because the other dining area gets booked out very early on Saturday nights.
Meals at this RSL are very tasty, I've been for dinner maybe 7 or 8 times and I don't remember ever being unhappy with my meal, last nights dinner was chicken breast stuffed with Camembert and it was delish.
Prices are a little higher for the food than your typical RSL club but it still reasonable. About roughly $24 for a main. A glass of Rothbury Estate sav blanc was only $4 in the restaurant, very good value.
We've never had bad service. The place is very busy though.
This RSL is the place I take guests visiting from out of town. They normally are a little apprehensive about being taken to an RSL club in Frankston until they arrive and see the establishment and there's always a "ooooh aaaaah it's not what I expected"

Approximate cost: $About $25?

We dined at Cracked Pepper for the first time on Friday and LOVED IT! Thank you to Collin who made us feel most welcome. Cracked Pepper is a great place to go to meet with friends and enjoy a funky relaxed atmosphere. The fit out of the place was amazing and am looking forward to coming back with some friends to enjoy the amazing wine / beer selection and the tasty pizzas. The only downside is that I cant reserve my now favourite booth. Would also love to see a Tapas or share plate menue..
