Amazing talented stylists at this hair salon. My blow wave lasts a week and has never looked this good before. Just fabulous.

In the past year I have had the distinct pleasure of becoming associated with the staff including Shavani, the owner, and the rest of the pleasurable staff at Fredricko's styling salon of Southport. The atmosphere is warm, the staff accomadating, and they provide a friendly upbeat addition to what I have coined a day of vacation. Hair salons are easy to find but the exceptional care,customer , Fredricko's gives the sets a standard others may only hope to accomplish. Considering all the inflationary pressures and pandemic infused excuses we have and continue to live through it is a rare treasure indeed to find a buissness more than willing to do whatever it takes in continuing to earn the publcs respect. Fredricko's does this as I see it, effortlessly, because they act as if the customer really matters. I personally recommend such a well suited business. Sincerely, Paul Z.

Delighted with my style haircut today. I feel younger and happier with my appearance. The hairdressers are friendly and professional. Pricing is great. Going back for foils. Recommended highly.

Covid pressures maybe? Tough times for all. A lot going on at the moment for everyone.
I found the owner Vesna such a lovely professional lady. I have short fine hair and I have her cut my hair for a long time now ( 3yrs or so). Prices seem reasonable and I have been happy with each visit.

Very professional team and always super friendly. They are great if you suddenly decide to have your hair done, they'll move heaven and earth to accommodate you at short notice. I am totally happy with the wonderful service I receive there! A very experienced team who really know hair!!

I went approximately 8 months ago and saw the owner, had 3/4 hair foils and cut, colour not done right on one side of my head which should have been bleached, asked for it to be done to the root wasn't, layered on one side more than the other $175. Anyhow, went back with no satisfaction in discussions to fix it. Then spoke to 2 strangers about where they got their hair cut as I thought their cut looked good being layered and short, and they said that the hairdresser also worked here. So I spoke to one of the girls saying I wanted to come and see this particular hairdresser when the owner wasn't there, she said fine. I left it for quite a few months (approx 8) before calling making an appointment for when the owner wouldn't be there. They mucked me around as the owner was there when I checked, so I then made another appointment explaining to Maria who I was booking and wanting to see and explained that I didn't want to see the owner, so she told me to make it for the following Tuesday afternoon as she would be off. I get there and the owner greets me, Maria was at lunch. So I was livered, set up?? So I thought do I wait or go, but as I was told this hairdresser was good and I admired these ladies hair, and as I can't seem to find anyone that can layer my hair and take weight out I took my chances and waited for her return. She had attitude towards me, so I should have left I'd say, but I asked if she had a problem cutting my hair which she didn't answer at first but then said no. Well, $145 for a dry hair cut, and 1/2 head of foils which I agreed to at the time after she had cut my hair. I suggested a dry cut if it suited her so she could see my layers, she agreed, I said only if she felt that it was ok, and I asked for no blow style/dry. At first I thought she had cut it well till I got home, NO, NO,NO,NO,NO,NO. I have a lot of hair, it's not balanced, layered more on one side, heavy in many places, just hopeless. The colour not bleached to the root when I specifically asked for it, also the colour not done right at the back of my head., the cut is more the issue for me though. But guess what, should have known due to the attitude and the situation of her being at lunch when I got there and the manager being there, but also as she said whilst she was cutting my hair so frivolously that she was just cutting my hair however she felt, or something like that, just a strange comment it was at the time. Anyhow, just arseholes, don't go there, I just want a decent haircut, no one seems to be able to feather or layer cut properly these days or take weight out properly.

I have always been totally 100% happy with this salon. The staff is very polite and helpful. I have only had Amanda do my hair so far but her cut and colour and blow dry have always been fabulous. She really knows her stuff! I would totally recommend Frederico's to anyone.

Never again. Totally blown away. Would not recommend. Bad cut Bad Colour. Foreign Senior Hairdresser. Not the hair style I wanted. After calling into salon the following day, her colleagues couldn't resolve it as she was unavailable. Hairdresser contradicted everything I said. No refund offered. Because she believed she did nothing wrong. Totally DISGUSTED

The head hairdresser (foreign woman with a rough and rude bedside manner?) whose name I didn't catch broke my hair with rough brushing of knots on wet hair. There are broken strands all throughout and I'm depressed. It's NEVER been this way. Never again.

I have very long hair past my waist, and they really looked after me here. Staff are friendly and I have enjoyed my experience at Frederico's. Not the cheapest hairdresser around, but they are professional and treat their clients like Gold.
