There's nothing all that special about this little fish and chip shop which also sells chickens, but then there's nothing too bad about it either. It's in a busy location near the corner of Ballarat Road, so park in the side street.

It's a small place, couple of tables jammed in near the window and the counter and fridge, but the man was happy to see me as there wasn't anyone else in there. And I got a smile.

I had a piece of fish, potato cake and dim sim all for $6.40. Of course there are the usual range of other fish and chip shop products as well as burgers and the option of chicken.

Flake was reasonable sized, maybe a touch "dry" at one end where the batter hadn't covered. But the other items were cooked well. Fish was quite nice but doesn't compare to some other places I've been. A slice of lemon was included.

A handy little place to run into when you are on the way or way home from other shopping perhaps, but not a destination in itself.
