It is only the prices that let this place down. The range of bread is excellent and the staff are great.
I was very disappointed at the prices when they recently began selling pre-prepared salads and other take-away "ready to eat" items.
It felt as though somebody was thinking "I wonder how much we can get for this?" before pricing something.... As a result I went elsewhere.. I would suggest cutting margins and watching for an increase in volume.

This is a great place to get a nice cake/sweet treat to take into work for office parties/birthdays in the office etc. Or any occasion really, I have also got cakes from there for birthdays at home. They also have a great range of breads, pastries, etc and everything is always fresh and well made. My favourite single serve items are the caramel slice and the fruit/custard tarts. I still have not found a better caramel slice in Perth (and I've had quite a few!). The chocolate is rich, the custard a perfect consistency and like velvet, and the base is divine. The staff are always super friendly and helpful, and they always ask if I want the lunch pastries warmed in the microwave - the vegetable pasties are also amazing and filling with quality ingredients.

The breads and savouries here a great, they only get in very good quality produce. The hot pies, sausage rolls etc. are all great, although they don't heat up many and if they heat one up for you in the microwave the pastry is quite soft. A little pricey but that's to be expected around here.

I recently got a few things from there to try everything was pretty tasty
I got a satay pie a steak and mushroom pie although I didn't see or taste much mushroom it was still very tasty and a nice spinach cheese roll and a jam donut that was nice and fresh
I said it was going into the freezer and she put it into a freezer bag for me which was handy
