Such a nice cafe for a catch up with friends and family. Firstly, the building itself is beautiful. It was once a church and its has so much space, beautiful high ceilings and a splattering of mismatched chairs and tables that add character to the setting. I love the open chicken souvlaki, it is tasty and freshly cooked however, there are more daring options on the specials board if you're game to try meat such as crocodile. Prices are fair and staff are delightfully polite.

My husband and i go here weekly for our coffee and cake treat. $10 for a great cup of coffee and your choice of cake - theres usually a minimum of 10 different cakes, tortes, tarts etc to choose from and each week i have the same dilemma - what should i choose because they all look so delicious. The coconut lime cheesecake and the lemon tart are delicious!! And the serves are very generous and everything comes with fresh cream and ether a chocolate sauce or raspberry coolie. Coffee is always hot which is good and the staff are always friendly and on the ball. I love the open kitchen design where you can sit and watched everything being prepared and the chefs are happy to answer any questions. Lovely place with a really warm feel and lovely stained glass windows!! As an added bonus they have a good range of the daily papers to read while you are there. Apart from the coffee and cake they have a great all day brekkie menu (huge servings ) and a really interesting lunch menu - lots of different things and a great daily specials menue. This is one of my favourite places to eat in Shepparton. They have a coffee club card to so you can get free coffee!

Lovely greeting when I walked in the door, but unfortunately that's where the good service stopped. They had loads of staff, but no one was particularly attentive. It took them 20 minutes to come back and take my order. The food was delicious, but there was no spoon given with the curry, so I had to go and grab one myself. Great setting and ambiance, and good food. A little more attention to detail with the service and these guys will have it bang on. I've had coffee here previously and it was great.

Approximate cost: $15-25

We had a big breakfast here! It was awesome, loved the chutney and the eggs were perfect. It was so busy, and we had to wait for a table as it was raining outside, but definitely worth it. Would recommend booking to avoid disappointment on the weekend.
