I was excited to see Full Moon Thai open. Their decor is amazing and I was looking forward to eating there, so made a booking for myself and my husband. I was 8 months pregnant at the time. When we arrived we were shown by a friendly young waitress to a table by a window and started looking through the menu. About 5 minutes later a lady very abruptly came and told us we had to move as that table was for someone else. I was physically uncomfortable and also embarrassed as people in the small restaurant were looking at us as if we'd caused a problem. Not only did we have to move from the table, but we had to go and stand in a small queue and wait while they prepared another table for us. No apology was offered, except from the embarrassed young man who was ushered to the seat we had been in and who saw it all happen. He must have requested that table when booking, but was mortified to see us moved from it. Not a great dining experience, and we won't be going back there. The food was OK, but we were really put off. Pimarn Thai in the same street is friendly and accommodating and although it lacks the funky decor and more inventive menu items, we will keep going there.

Hubby took me here as a surprise for my birthday and we absolutely loved it! We ordered the whole burramundi with papaya salad, duck in plum sauce and calamari & soft shell crab. I can't choose which dish was my fave as all three were absolutely delish, each having their own unique taste. Also their dessert "full moon" is warm cassava served with ice cream. Yummy! Service was exceptional. We were greeted with friendly smile and was attended to regularly to make sure we were happy with our food. Will definitely come back here again.

This restaurant has a really huge menu, so it's worth going there over and over again just to try everything they've got! The food is full of flavour, and comes in huge portions, so you'll go home feeling pretty satisfied! Service is friendly and sophisticated, but not exceptional.
