Funky Homes

If you want to get a present for that hard to buy friend, or just want a gift which is a bit different to what you can buy elsewhere in Hobart, Funky Homes is a great shop to look. For a small shop, they have a large range of things to look at.

Their giftware includes lovely jewellery, a lot of which is made by artists in Tassie or Oz, lovely stationery and modern homewares. They always seem to have new items coming in.

The shop is light and set out very well, so it is a pleasure to wander around and browse. I always find the staff helpful.

On occasions when I have been unable to choose, because I had too many things to choose from, they have the option of cute looking gift vouchers.

Funky Homes is a giftware shop specializing in (as the name suggests) funky gifts. The owner has an eye for things which are a bit different, and cover all ages from babies through to things that the more trendy grandparents will appreciate. I especially love going in there to choose wedding presents, as the owner's suggestions are always spot on and her giftwrapping is second to none (one less thing to worry about).
