I took my 7 yr old there and for the first time in his life he had a great cut and not just your usual short back and sides. The hairdresser was great and really listened to me and was very patient with him, which would have been hard as he doesn't stop talking and wriggling! Will definitely go again.

I have been to this salon 3 times for cut and colour. First 2 times were fine - expensive but I was happy with the cut (after having had some bad experiences beforehand) so endured the cost. The 3rd and last time made me so annoyed I've not been back. I was left in the hands of a high school work experience student for the colour rinse. The whole cut, colour and dry service took in excess of 2.5 hours - at least 30 minutes of this was with the student who was so busy questioning me about my life (including how old I was and how much money i made!) that she failed to rinse the colour from underneath. She realised this when she was towel drying my hair and had to rinse again. During this whole process there was not a hairdresser in sight to supervise - I could hear them out the back joking around the whole time. I was the only customer. The student was pleasant enough, but she needed supervision to show her how to do it properly. My hair still reeked of hair dye when I left - I'm sure there was still heaps in my hair and on my scalp. And no discount was offered... Still paid full price of over $200! In my view, that price should represent the epitomy of service by an experienced hairdresser. As soon as a work experience student steps in, i want a hefty discount! An apprentice doesn't bother me, but a high school kid does! That was the straw that broke the camels back and there is no way I will be going back - even if the service was free!

My needs listened to; care given to my comfort during the process; expressed desire to ensure a result with which both I and stylist are happy; optimum use of organic/low toxicity products; forward booking available; polite, friendly, genuine staff. Generally very pleasant experience.Would prefer no music playing, as combined with dryers, phone and voices in conversations, the noise level is not restful and therefore not in harmony with aims of salon(in my opinion). Enough noise when one leaves and returns to rest of world- healthy and needful to have a break.

i thought it was going to be great, as i got the 1st time discount. but it ended up costing way more then i was really willing to pay for. colour was that great, could've done it better myself. the hairdresser was untidy/lazy, as the trainee was more helpful. the cut was good, but not worth the price. place was tidy and pretty. but overall not worth the price.

Approximate cost: $120
