Galaxy Bookshop

Great bookstore for Sci-Fi/Fantasy book lovers. Great with meeting authors as they occasionally have well known authors such as Richelle Mead and Juliet Marrilier. They're also good to find things that stores may no longer stock in regards to Fantasy/Sci-Fi. They also have an online store.

All fantasy and sci fi books you could ever want. Sure - not bargain prices, but they have the lot and they know the stock an the upcoming stuff, and the authors. They have a mid year sale with really cheap books, you join the club and get vouchers for 10% off the total you have spent - so it can be quite cheap.

Galaxy is one of the best book stores in the city if your looking for a huge range of fantasy, sci-fi or horror books and dvds. The staff are helpful to the point of looking online for a book for you that they can't get but you can get elsewhere! The free monthly newsletter is available just outside the shop front and is great for keeping up with new releases.

A fantastic themed bookshop that always gets my attention. Fantasty being my favourite genre they have many unusual books which i havent seen elsewhere as well as a range of figurines and movies. The layout of the store is good and themed perfectly. Another store i spend too much time in.
