A really great hotel restaurant.
They've recently launched a French style menu that embraces the art of sharing and their sharing board was definitely one of the most luxurious starters we've ever had. Featuring smoked salmon, trout gravlax, Sauvignon Blanc sauteed mushrooms, cold meats, dips and heaps more, you're bound to forget you're on your lunch break while you're transported to grand Paree. Pair it with a glass of Four in Hand Shiraz and you'll never want to go back to the office.
This place is pretty good for a hotel restaurant. We went there (5 of us) and the place was pretty busy, but it was a hushed busy, the whole room felt so nice a cosy. We all loved the great big comfy chairs. The food was quite good, very old fashioned but very tasty and good portion sizes.
Went here for a friend's farewell. While pricey, the food is top notch. They gave us a sample of pumpkin soup with truffle oil and it was delicious. The food was fantastic, and the staff were attentive and friendly.
Approximate cost: $40
