I can not say a bad word about Steve and Alex. From the very first time we meet them in 2011 they have been nothing but professional on all levels. Whenever I call them they are here in a flash - even for stupid little calls. they explain everything in details and are always happy to help.
Both Steve and Alex have gone way beyond the call of duty....If you saw the Townsville Bulletin Monday 26th November - that is what customer service is all about.

We were recommended to use Gate O Matic. We called them out along with others. Their price was by far the best price and a well thought out solution. Since then, we have used Gate O Matic for both our home and for business. They have installed two private and three commercial gate systems over the last 18 months and I have been delighted with each. The contractor has been very straightforward to deal with. He is meticulous in his preparation, the quality of his fabrication is of the highest order. He is a true professional. On time, on quote and only installs the very best of motors and electrical equipment. One of the systems he installed was solar powered and saved thousands of dollars from having to dig trenches and lay conduit and cable.
I highly recommend the firm. The two guys take a real pride in what they are doing and offer a 24 month guarantee, which I have never had to call on. Next time we need gates or fencing done, he will be the first firm I call. We have neighbours who have also used him and they are just as pleased as us.
I have no idea why Valerie is so disappointed, but there are always two sides to a story I guess. As for us, we only have praise and gratitude for excellent workmanship and professionalism.

Engaged this contractor to build and install custom solar automatic gate. Including footing for the gate asked that the gate be installed to existing fence line. Paid a deposit of 50% of quoted price. Upon completion it was evident that the gate was installed 5.5 inches above the fence line on one side. Asked that contractor rectify the problem and would be happy to pay for the work upon rectified works completion. Contractor returned to site with out notice took the gate and motor. Sent an email stating the footing could be repaired at own expense but all warranties would be null and void and once all monies paid, mind you no invoice ever issued during this time, also stated he would reinstall the gate for an additional cost of $550.00 Overall rate given of 1 star for professionalism, business conduct and workmanship on the finished product. We simply wanted a gate parallel with the existing fence line as do all gates I have driven past on peoples properties in Townville no less no more
