1 review about GAZEBO RESTAURANT

On a recent business trip I was booked to stay for 5 days at the Sebel Resort in Winsor. Due to the early work starts (7.30am at the nearby RAF base) I was glad to find that they had an on site breakfast restaurant located in the Terrace.

The restaurant itself is quite nice being walled entirely in glass. As the Hotel promotes itself for weddings I suppose this is where the lunch and dinners will be held. As for the public, the only meal that I can see that the restaurant serves is breakfast as they are only opened from 6am to 10pm.

The food is very typical of hotel breakfast around Australia. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, hashbrowns, toast, cereal etc. There was also an on site short order cook who would make your eggs (fried, poached, omelette) to order if scrambled wasn't your preferred egg option.

The only unusual thing here was they had a pancake machine which allows you to make your own pancakes right at the buffet bar.

For $20 a person, this isn't a cheap breakfast but not unusual for higher class hotels.

Approximate cost: $20
