Whilst on a GBR day trip with Quicksilver we had an opportunity to see the majestic great barrier reef from the air, on a helicopter ride ......... so why not!!
Hubby and I went on for 10 minutes (cost approx $165 each) and the ride was absolutely smooth, not scary at all as I thought it would be.
we were transferred from the pontoon by a small boat to the landing, then 4 passengers at once with the pilot with taken into the friendly skies.
this is an amazing opportunity and i am so glad we took the opportunity to see the reef from the air ,,,, definitely got excellent photos.
the pilot was very professional and made the trip memorable
