When my fence went last winter and I'd been through a few quotes with dead ends. I also got a quote from GDN Fencing.

Guy at GDN Fencing made a time with me, was realistic about his ability to make the appointment and he showed up at the time specified.

Guy gave me the quote within the time frame he specified and once the neighbors were all happy we confirmed the job. Guy at GDN then proceeded to provide us a date for the demolition of our old fence and construction of the new one.

GDN were onsite on the date specified at 6am as specified as well. They worked in teams and had the old fence demolished, removed and the new fence 39 meters long by 6 foot high up by 2pm.

I would highly recommend GDN Fencing to anyone seeking to replace or build fencing or boundary lines.

We have another fence going up and GDN will definitely be in the round with a favorable history for tenders and quotes.

Hired them to build a fence and they didn't do what was required. When questioned about the incorrect construction we were abused (the wording is not appropriate to be put on here but i can if requested) via text. We have reported them to the police because of the text and we are now going to go to Vcat. Disgraceful and completely unprofessional.

In regards to the above review: The issue with the fence has been resolved so we are no longer going to Vcat.
I should also make it clear that the problems did not involve the installer. He was professional, polite and his workmanship great. The problems are with the company owner.

I recently had a fence erected by this company. The quality was terrific, but unfortunately they left a large gap under the fence, for nearly 10 metres of a 46 metre fence.

I made the mistake of paying in full, whilst requesting rectification of the fault. Unfortunately this meant that -Retracted- felt he did not need to service me as a customer, and his rectification was to quote me (after delaying for some time) a fee to fix it, for a problem created by his company. Hardly customer service, and he couldn't care less about it because he has his money.

I would never recommend people to use a company with the follow up service and ethics he has displayed. Problem is still not fixed and I am taking further action.

We have just used them to fence all three boundary fences of a block we have purchased in Montrose. As we were coordinating the works on behalf of all the neighbouring properties we really appreciated the detailed quotations provided which were professionally set out and easy to read. They also came with a copy for each of the parties involved making it easy to get agreement from all parties. As this took some time, we needed to keep up communications with Guy. This proved to be excellent, with emails/phone calls being responded to promptly. When works commenced all went very well and the neighbours commented on what a lovely group of contractors they were.
We had chosen this company to do these works based on price and reputation and they did not disappoint on either score. We are planning to build a house in the next 12 months and will definitely be calling them to provide further quotations in regards to gates and decks etc.
