Was arranged by the real estate agent, for our neighbour - we didn't choose GDN, but they were great. The guys had to work in the rain/mud - but cleaned up after themselves, barely heard them working - and they were polite & considerate. Good email/messaging communication too - to let us know when they would be arriving, etc.

Recently I had to have a fallen fence replaced ASAP due to safety concerns. Guy provided me with exceptional service, he quoted the job as soon as I asked for his help and the work was done within a couple of days. He fitted my job into his schedule, and he worked into the early evening to finish. The work was top quality and his customer service second to none. I can highly recommend him.

Guy had previously built two decks for us, which still look as good today as they did when constructed five years ago. He pays great attention to detail and does the little things that others overlook or can't be bothered doing ... such as beveling the edges on both our decks. He is proud of his workmanship and won't leave a job until both he and the client are satisfied, however long that takes. We're quite particular and wanted perfection and he was never bothered by that. Guy was naturally the first person we thought of to quote us for a side fence a few weeks ago but we required three quotes. Two came in at close to $2,500 and Guy quoted $1,500. No-brainer who we chose, and as expected Guy's staff were incredibly professional (thanks Rod!). The whole fence was erected in well under a day and is as close to perfection as you can get. Guy no longer builds decks, so we were forced to get another contractor to build us a third one just recently. We're not particularly happy that some of the boards aren't flush and that none of the edges were beveled. I mentioned this to Guy in an email when thanking him for doing the fence, sent him some photos of the deck and he volunteered to pop out and have a look. Nothing in it for him, he's just like that. Anybody who has ever used Guy to build something will keep using him. And he's actually cheaper than most as well!!
