Found a lovely German Shepherd on Petrescue. Lodged an application and got no response. Found GAWS on a search and spotted a lovely 1yo German Shepherd ( same qualities as the other one) applied on Thursday, phone interview with a lovely lady on Saturday, Meet and Greet on the Monday (5th February 2024) with Renee. Went home with the most beautiful young shepherd who slotted straight into our home. Could not be happier with our new baby girl. Only cost us $149. This is quite possibly the best money we have ever spent, love her to bits.

All the staff are friendly, helpful and caring. Very affordable compared to other vets. Great work.

Very expensive to adopt a pet and if your pet gets out and ends up at gaws it's also a lot of money to get them out I've had to collect my dogs from there a few times and some of the staff can be very rude but most are lovely even though there expensive they do a good job at looking after all the animals they get maybe if they dropped there prices a little they would find a lot more animals being adopted

Sadly, I can only speak from my experience. Small dogs $395; Large dogs $295. Does not encourage families or low income people to adopt a pet in need.
I paid $395 for a small jack russell, wonderful dog. Had been vet checked at the pound???? My My own vet examined it in 5 minutes and said there were major emotionally attached after 1 month. The reptionist tells me that I was told that it didn't like being touched in the back quarters but what dog would after being neutered. They didn't tell me it has joint problems and eye sight problems. I feel deceived and have lost a beautiful pet because I can't afford to have the operation. I was going to utlise Bobby in a delta program visiting elderly residents in nursing homes where I work. Very sad and disappointed. I hope I can see Bobby again.
