I've been to George's a few times. The service is average, and the two ladies there whinge and gossip to each other the entire time you wait. Their chips are ok, not great but not terrible either. Parking can be a little awkward near the roundabout.

great fish and chip shop, had a few bad visits and a few good, usually go to ones closer to home but when in town worth a look. have deep fried mars bars, good and great in so many ways

Always friendly service and great takeaway food. Offer a card with freebies on every 2nd visit. Not too expensive and the Burgers are so yummy. Can't fault them on anything except the batter saveloy.
