Great pastries, cakes and coffee. Highly recommended

This is a great pitstop to pick something up while you're on the run. They have a tempting array of traditional Italian pastries and cakes on display at reasonable prices. It's not just a pastry shop and bakery, they also have coffees, sandwiches, meat pies, sausage rolls, gourmet quiches, special occasion cakes and a gelato range.
I shared a roast beef & gravy sandwich and a chicken parmigiana sandwich with my sister...generous portion sizes. I also had a bolognaise arancini (deep fried Sicilian rice ball) which are usually hard to find in Brisbane. The coffee was not spectacular but the service was friendly.

Friends rave about Gerbinos but I found the coffee average and the food only slightly better.
Gelato was good. Service was ok.

their pies and cakes are to die for! love their food and pastries. I also like the fact that they offer gelati - I havent been able to find a decent gelati place in Brisbane, but their's is definitely very good!

What can i say but i love food and this place has the best. The food was awesome. The desserts and coffee just melt into your mouth. They were spectacular. My favorite is the homemade gelati and sorbets. All natural ingredients and flavours. The wedding cakes and other cakes are just amazing. I was watching a couple try cakes the day i was there having coffee and lunch. WOW the cake was enormous and it looked fabulous. I was very impressed. Would highly recommend !
