Ginseng is, without a doubt, one of the best restaurants for Asian Cuisine in Canberra. While the space provided for the restaurant is intimate, this does not detract from the staff at Ginseng offering a fantastic dining experience.

The restaurant boasts both modern and traditional flavours, providing for a variety of tastes, while still maintaining strong flavours of the East.

A great place to dine

The food at Ginseng is delicious and they have quite a huge range of Chinese dishes. I love the Malaysian Curry Chicken though the portions are quite small and it can be quite expensive. Still, the staff were efficient and friendly. A nice place to have dinner.

They have a great menu here of traditional and fushion type dishes, though some are a bit hit and miss. the prices are a little high, but the quality is certainly higher than many other chinese restaurants in canberra

The chefs recommendations are good recommendations, however i found the prices to be a bit over the top. A very popular destination and great views and atmosphere. And set in a yuppie area. Good restaurant.

This place do really nice Chinese food. You can order off the menu, or they also do great value banquets. The staff are quite friendly. There's plenty of seating as the restaurant is 2 storeys. There's a really good choice of items. Decor is basic, but the great food makes up for this.

I went here a while ago so i can't remember too much about it except that i enjoyed the meal and the staff were quite friendly. We had a nice night and i will go back.
