The thing that remains in my mind most about our lunch at Gio's is the flies. Being open to the street and I guess, being so close to the racecourse, the flies were an issue. The food is average and the staff are not particularly friendly. There are definitely better choices on Racecourse Road.

I have been a regular customer of Gios until recently when our experience wasnt as pleasant and it had been in the past. The food and service is normally excellent but the attitude of one young lady there has put us off going back for some time.

We went here for a quick, casual lunch. The food was plentiful and tasty. The omelettes in particular were really good value, and very tasty. There are no surprises on the menu, just good basic cafe food done well and at a reasonable price.
