Do not see Dr Arthur Bablis!

Arrogant and can’t be told! If you or your loved one have a sporting injury, this is NOT your doctor.

Presented 2 sons with sore backs. I requested X rays and MRIs. Was laughed at, and he scoffed “if they had a broken spine they wouldn’t be able to walk”. Proceeded to write ONE son a referral for and X-ray and then said the other son just has a sprained muscle.

I trusted my mother’s instinct and consulted a physio, who wrote to Arthur requesting an X-ray for the other son as well as MRIs for both sons.

Well the results came in, and what do you know…. BOTH kids have a stress fracture in their spine from increased sport load recently. And what do you know, this is such a common injury for kids that do a large amount of sport. And if they gone undiagnosed, they may have risked a slipped vertebrae and had lifelong spinal issues. Thankful I didn’t listen to Arthur and trusted my gut!

I went back for results and to get a referral to my sports specialist and he refused! Said I don’t need a referral to see a sports specialist. So I called another GP at medical one Greensborough and got a written referral and a bloodwork referral all in under 5 minutes on a Telehealth appointment.

Safe to say I will never return to Arthur. He is a hack that is so far out of touch. And does it all with an air of arrogance. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

A clinic run by a husband and wife team which is nice and local for me personally. I find they are pretty on time with appointments. I see the wife and she has been fantastic to deal with- spot on with diagnosis and fairly down to earth and friendly for a doctor. Have been going here for a couple of years and will happily continue to do so for many more.

A husband and wife run this clinic. The wife is the friendliest lady (not sure about the husband, I only see the wife). They are never running on time (but what doctor's surgery are). They bulk bill which is great. And if you urgently need to see a doctor, then they'll fit you in
