Wonderful hearty traditional pub meals. Great for groups for birthdays, work dinners etc. I always get the fish and chips and they are always fabulous. The prices are good and the staff are friendly. It can be a little noisy on busy nights but that's not a major problem unless that annoys you.

Exactly what a pub should be. Friendly, laid back and casual, full of great people you can go up to and talk to. And the place gets it's Jive on on weekends :)

good variety of meals and good value for money. there is often entertainment around. the dining area itself is in need of a make over, but good enough for a family get-together
