We did a timing belt while returning from bundaberg to Ipswich at Christmas. I rang Peer and he said bring her in and we will look at her. Steve rang in the new year and advised us on what needed to be done. Top end rebuild including a new head. have received car back better than new, extremely happy with their professional workmanship and communication. Steve went over and above to restore our volvo to running perfectly. Would not go anywhere else.

Highly recommended. We purchased a 2002 Volvo V40 T SE in NSW and drove it to QLD. It's a 12 year old car and although it is immaculate I anticipated repairs. Along the way to QLD I compiled a list of everything I could find wrong with the car - from a subtle wobble under acceleration (I purchased 4 new tyres with balancing and alignment in NSW - so it was not the tyres), leaking coolant and spongey brakes to one of the electrical door knobs not working and the boot rubber seal needing replacement. It was a long list - the Volvo also needed a safety certificate for registration in QLD. I wanted everything to be perfect - no reason it shouldn't be - it's a nice car. We booked the car in with GLT and gave them the list. GLT helped us prioritise - everything important on the list was fixed. I had already read a lot about GLT Car Centre on the Internet i.e. that they are open to sourcing less expensive quality parts that are fit for purpose where possible; so the price matched my expectations. If I did not know this already, the price is a LOT cheaper than one would have expected it to be. The quality of their work is excellent. On the drive home from GLT I could tell the difference - I had already spent overy 1000kms in this car in a very short time - so I knew. I am writing this review to share the joy. I believe GLT is as good as it gets for Volvo repairs. We will definately be going there for the 165000km service.

I have been using GLT ever since Ultratune franchises were exposed on national tv. GLT has very knowledgeable mechanics, able to fix almost every problem on the first visit. Hence, the faster they are at repairing, the cheaper they are, too. Highly recommended.
