Good Life Portraits

The people at Good Life Portraits made us at ease during the photo shoot and produced some great photos of our little family that we display on the wall at home. The process of viewing our photos and selecting which photos to print was easy and intuitive. It is great to contribute to a small family business and would recommend Good Life to anyone who is looking to update there portraits.

I won the voucher of 1000 dollars and I couldn’t believe it. Alisha has done a fabulous job in handling my baby girl photoshoot and my maternity shoot. Brittany is very polite. Good life portrait services and quality is more than five stars. Thanks

We ‘won’ a $1000 gift voucher for a maternity & newborn prize. I would never usually be able to afford something like this so I was excited when I was told I had won this prize!! Went to the maternity shoot then the newborn shoot later and I admit the service is great, they really butter you up and make it feel so special. At no point was I told about cost during this time. Until I came back to view the photos. They set the scene for the viewing, emotional music playing and big projector with almost 100 beautiful shots to look through. Up til this point I thought it was amazing and loved the professionalism and quality of everything. However, the heart sank when the lady produced a brochure of their packages on offer and explained we would now have to make a short list from all the images viewed. The packages are way way over my budget!! She’s happily pointing out their amazing $4000 package which is apparently almost $1000 for a limited time and you really feel the pressure to make a list of photos to purchase. I asked if I can just purchase digital as I can’t afford their print costs, nope! Not possible apparently, the only way to get digital is to purchase the print version. I had to cull almost 100 photos down to just 4-5 photos as even with the $1000 ‘prize’ I still had pay $600. These were for basic prints, not any fancy artwork or albums. You could say, well the photoshoot was ‘free’ and you’re not obliged to buy the prints .. but how can you not! This is what they’re praying on, people who think they’ve won something then once you see the end product you feel you have to purchase something they you never would’ve bothered with in the first place had you known the cost! I can’t believe how many people have been conned with these prizes. It’s an ongoing scam. There is no prize! They factor the $1000 off into their charges which is why it’s so expensive. They aren’t actually giving anything away. It’s heartbreaking. All those beautiful images I’ll never get back. Can’t fault the photographer just the dodgy business tactic.

I’ve never felt so comfortable in front of the camera! The photographer helped us feel at ease and told us exactly how to stand so we could have much more natural smiles and poses! We’re so happy with how our photos turned out and can’t wait to display them in our home. The studio’s style is unique with a dark background but they know what they’re doing and it turns out amazing! Plus, the staff are all so friendly and helpful. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and appreciated.

Good life portraits were absolutely amazing. The service offers so much but my favourite was the personal phone call. This call allowed them to capture exactly who you are and then took that into a photo shoot, which felt like they were capturing every moment of life.

My partner and I have such an interesting love story that words just can't explain. With these pictures, it's all captured perfectly.

The cost was a shock at first, but with the aspect of showing you the photos and having many conversations, they are willing to work around you and your life/payments. There's so many payment options that make it so much easier.

Finally, the quality was amazing. We got a 12 photo album, and there's so many cover options for it. The photo quality in the album is stunning.

We took this amazing opportunity and enjoyed every moment with everyone there. Thank you, Good Life Portraits, for making this album for us.

We enjoyed our session so much. The whole team was amazing and patient with us with a newborn baby as well as a special needs toddler. The photos were phenomenal and I love the concept that you have a selected number of prints instead of the 40-50 shots you get at other studios.

Had a family photoshoot session today with my family who is not too keen on getting pictures taken, and I can say on all of our behalf that we had a really great experience with a great outcome. We were offered with a warm welcome and with a family timing issue our photographer was accomodating and generous.
We were made to feel so comfortable and the whole experience was light and full of laughs, which lead to some beautiful candid images. Each of us have found images that we will cherish forever.

I booked in a boudoir photoshoot at the Guilford studio. This was my first time doing anything like this and am beyond amazed with the outcome. From the very start Ben asked questions about myself and got to know a little about who I am as a person. He made me feel confident and empowered during the entire shoot and we also shared many laughs! He worked in poses that suited my personality and accentuated my unique self. I had so much fun being able to experience this and is something I will cherish forever. I would absolutely recommend Ben and Good Life Portraits to anyone thinking about getting professional pictures done. The results won't disappoint! Thank you for a wonderful and memorable experience.

Amazing! We are a young couple a bit unsure of the photoshoot process and Ben guided us through the whole thing. He made us feel comfortable in the space and encouraged us to have fun with it. In the end every shot was gorgeous it was so hard to narrow it down to meet our budget. It was great to get some advice when making the cuts at the end, we're looking forward to getting our prints.

Goodlife portraits went the extra mile for us. From running to the shop to buy baby formula, to remaining patient with my older son who went a little crazy during the shoot, the team worked with us to achieve the best possible photos. We had an amazing experience for our shoots from the very beginning of booking dates through to picking up our prints! We were lucky enough to win a package which included our maternity photos which Jess took and our new borns with Ben. Both were amazing photographers and made us feel so comfortable. Everything was clearly explained to us which is so important- we knew what we could take, what to wear, how to stand and where to look, how much photos were and what the packages looked like (without the pushy sales).
The quality of the images and service is definitely worth $- we love them so much!!!

It was our first professional maternity photo shoot. We were nervous prior to the photo shoot but the team at the Good Life Portrait walked us through each step from the time we first came in contact enquiring about it till the time we choose our photos after the photo shoot.

We had a great experience with good life
I did the pregnancy and newborn package and it was great fun, the team were very accomodating and kind. They give great attention to detail with what works for you and what you would like during your shoot to suit your needs. The experience is not daunting as you feel comfortable and it’s fun. As for your photos they truly are beautiful and highest quality. You get what you pay for, and there is lots options to cater everyone cost wise so you can take home something from the experience. I got a gorgeous engraved photo album, as i wanted memories of my first child and pregnancy definitely recommend.
