Management has been changed recently with these guys being polite and punctual with orders. If taking the kids along there is even a fish tank to keep them amused while your food is being cooked

Im not quite sure what it is but this place has the best chips i have ever tasted!
Every week they serve up perfect potato cakes,souvlaki and fresh fish which always beats my expectations! They must use a certain type of oil, there's no oily left overs on your hands and you never get that sickly feeling after over indulging. The only low point here is their burgers are a bit bland.

Its a home made delight! So much real tasting food and cooked in a healthy oil. The family feel about the place is a bonus, the staff bounce off each other. The shop is always clean and the food always Yum!

I never used to eat Fish and Chips till I tasted Gowanbrae Fish and Chips. It is hard to decide from the home made burgers, the souvlaki, the home made potato cakes and pumpkin fritters or the good old fashioned fish and chips. The food is never oily and doesn't leave that heavy feeling in your stomach... The shop is always spotless and the service is fantastic. Good food served by friendly great people..Definitely worth a visit..

The best fish & chips I have ever had....service is great...shop is always clean. People are fantastic and you can phone order and pick up. Wish I could eat there every night.. Closed Mondays.
