I ordered Calamari it wasn't cooked properly very oily and floury. Spoke to waitress she called manager I requested a refund as not feeling well after the few bites i had eaten. Manager asked to see our receipt which we weren't handed after paying for meal. He said there was still some lunches being served, but be would get back to me. I waited over 40 minutes and ended up walking out as no staff member come any where near us again. I would never recemend this Bar to anyone. Shame as its a great location.

The wagyu steak burger had too much sauce and very clumsy to eat, beef was chewy, nachos had so much corn chips, lots of cream but not enough meat sauce! Great ocean view and service was good.

Lovely place nice atmosphere the staff are friendly the service gr8. Luv the live music. Reasonably priced beers and wine. Great for a lovely day at the beach relax on the beach. Have been going to this place for many many years i cant fault it.

Loads of gluten free options, had the salt and pepper squid with chips and salad, also the chicken snitzel, both very nice. Lovely view and service was good.

Didn't think a vegetarian pasta could be so awful! The view was beautiful, but I just couldn't get over this overcooked pasta with a centimetre of oil sitting at the bottom and an overpowering taste of vinegar....ugh! Hubby's chicken pasta was apparently fine.

Because of its amazing view and prime location, The Grand takes their customers for granted. Their food is woefully inadequate. I live locally and it's a bit of a joke, always has been.

Hi Antheam2, thanks for sharing your experience. Speaking on behalf of a family of vegetarians, the pasta you were presented with sounds like a nightmare! We are frequently bewildered by the growing amount of so-called chefs who are incapable of creating the most basic dishes. Thank you kindly for the heads-up! Reeces

I have been here on many weekends and during the day, it is a great place to chill out with a few drinks however, during the summer and weekend evenings I find it gets too crowded and can often be uncomfortable. The dance floor is too small.
