I took my dog as she had an ear infection. Discussed her feed with the vet who told me to change from chicken wings to chicken neck .4 weeks later I have a very sick dog and a huge vet bill. The chicken necks caused acute idiopathic polyradiculoneuritis . She is now paralyzed and will take 2 weeks to see any improvement and probably 6 months for a full recovery ...if she recovers .

Had a great vet (Rachel, i think her name was), she was able to fix my dog up in one day. Thanks. He's so happy now. Just had his 14th Birthday.

Approximate cost: $100

As all vets are, they are very pricey. Although the reception staff are very helpful and the vets are lovely and extremely caring and gentle towards the animals.

Approximate cost: $200

I have been using this vet for over 10 years purely because of their location and convenience. But have recently started going elsewhere.

It is hard to get continuous treatment from one dr because they are always leaving. Even the faces at the front desk are always changing. I have had a couple of appointments that I have paid good money for where the vet has answered his mobile phone for a private conversation.

The price of worm medicine always goes up every time I go and since going to another vet clinic - I find the cost of the appointment at my new vet is $30 cheaper.

Now that I have taken the time to find out what else is available, I am really disapointed that I have taken my pets here for so long.

Took my dog as he had a limp. Was given antibiotics and told to come back in a week is he is still limping. Took my dog back. The doctor didn't even look at him walk, did a quick feel of the legs and took him out the back to a specialist. Specialist didn't even come and talk to us. Was told he had a cruciate ligament and he would need surgery to the cost of $1700. Took to Lort Smith who watched him walk, put him on the side and did the correct test for seeing if dogs have cruciate ligament. Was told, there is no way that is the problem. After a week later he is back to normal. Very disappointed. Would have put my dog through all that for nothing.. Plus pay out $1700 for nothing.

Approximate cost: $1700.00

I have been taking my cat to this clinic since he was a kitten for routine care and also more specific treatment. The staff are fantastic. Caring, compassionate and extremely dedicated professionals. I always feel assured that my pet is being given the best possible care.

My cat was bitten by a snake in April this year - Lucky cat! This vet was very helpful and understanding and ran the appropriate tests, always advising us of what action was best and appropriate. Great after hours service and advice over the phone. Fantastic follow up by vet to find out how cat was progressing.
As it was the end of the season (snake) thankfully my cat didn't need anti-venom, as she recovered slowly with lots of TLC at home. Great Vet and definitely would recommend.
