Had given feedback and been asked for contact details. To date have had no follow-up. I was only in overnight. Post op was promised cuppa and meal approximately 6.30. Finally after e requests and a cracking headache got meal and cuppa around 10.30. Had fasted from required am so was hungry, thirsty and then headache. Have had no response.
Most of the doctors and nurses are very professional and supportive. But there are some nurses who really have terrible level of patient care.
Would've given it zero stars if it were possible. Absolutely terrible level of patient care at this hospital. The people who work there treat you like a number, not a person. In addition, the hospital is understaffed, which often results in patients having to wait unnecessarily long amounts of time for the simplest of things. Having spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals over the years, I can assure you that there are many hospitals in Brisbane that are so much better. Greenslopes is the worst by far and I would not recommend it.
The medical care here is exceptional. Was admitted to Emergency and diagnosed an on a ward within 2 hours, including having had diagnostic tests. The nurses were exceptional and the staff were all friendly and I didn't feel that I was a nuisance to them at all.
This certainly sounds like the place to be if you are sick and needing medical care.
