Grey gums is a good place to stay in Penrith - not too far from the Penrith Business District and really handy to the M4 Western Motorway. Close to a wide range of restaurants also. Now, onto the hotel: this place is just easy - easy to find, easy to check in and easy to get a park. The rooms have plenty of space and the service is pretty good to be honest. But, on staying here, you just get the feeling of being back in 1995 - not such a bad thing for some, but the place is dated a little. That said, there isn't too much noise and I always have a good night's rest at Grey Gums.

Ate here for lunch recently and feel it has declined rapidly. Staff have no wow factor with service so much so that we were passed from one to another like some childs game for ordering drinks and meals as it was obvious the staff wern't on speaking terms with each other.
Very unprofessional and ruins the dining experience as did the burnt food we received. Too much competition out there to bother returning.

This is a nice little pub with friendly staff, their food used to be exceptional but has declined over the last few years. I can say that I had one of the best steaks of my life here, however I would probably hesitate to have one there now. Still a nice pub for a drink.

I took my dad to Greygums for lunch. The meals we ordered took a little bit long to come out considering how quiet it was, but they were great value for their size and very tasty. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was quite relaxing.

This was an enjoyable meal! It was quick to order, inexpensive and came out very fast. The meal was REALLY good, especially for Bistro food. The staff were really friendly and they remembered the round of drinks without prompting. Definately an enjoyable visit!
