Agreed to buy a car, Dealing with them via Facebook Marketplace. Then they must have received a better offer and sold the car to someone else despite our agreement. I will never deal with them again.

James told me he took over this work shop about 2 months ago in March this year (2016).
I found him reliable, honest, extremely helpful and respectful.
James did a great job servicing my AUDI for under $200.00.

my car was taken here and on its return it had been stripped of hard to find parts now in polices hands he cut wires to my lights his reception staff are rude and use foul language NEVER GO HERE he is a crack head that doesn't know cars
Just avoid this guy, You take your car for normal service and this guy will tell you couple of problems in your car, which are actually not there just to earn extra money. when it happened with me I thought maybe I am wrong but same things happen with my mate as well. he will come up with some wild problems in your car and ask you to fix it now or it will damage your car. Just stay away from this guy
Made a booking three weeks in advance and was advised that a loan car would be available on the day. Arrived at 9am and no one in attendance and reception was locked. Checked the advertized opening hours (8am-6pm) and called from my mobile, eventually got a mechanic out who then proceeded to ask if I wanted to book a service. I said no and pointed to the book and advised that a loan car should have been available. Mechanic rang his boss (George) and said couldn't get through and if I was in a rush - asked how long and got a shrug - waited for 15 minutes and no luck. Place looks run down and highly unprofessional, decided to leave and take my business elsewhere. Probably a good idea saving the $$$ and having wasted an hour driving to and fro and waiting instead.
There's a big difference between the reviews from 2010 and yours (and the last reviewer's) about the service and professionalism of this business.
For it to deteriorate this much, it would suggest that it has changed hands or at least a different mechanic is now in charge.
Hi Seaspray and thanks for your comment, I believe that would be the case, it was really very disappointing as I was expecting a good level of service from the previous reviews.
The situation with the loan cars isn't perfect as there can be delays on repairs on the previous customer's car, therefore they hang onto the loan car etc. Best to check the day before to make sure the loan car is available. At least one of his staff should be there by 8am. George starts later and finishes late. Things don't always go to plan and just watching George dealing with everything that comes up - he does a lot and he's looked after me many times. Maybe he needs to wind it back a bit to have more control over the business and spend more time on the cars himself. Overall I trust the work they do and find them good value.
Was recommended to George by a family friend after a conversation at a bbq.
I was complaining about constantly being getting ripped off by mechanics, who took advantage of my lack of knowledge and my trusting nature.
George has been a revelation, and is know our whole families mechanic, as well as being referred by us to others in a similar position.
It feels great to have finally have someone we can trust
Honest, no BS service. Used to take my Volvo to a specialist. George is more knowledgeable, and fixed problems the specialist couldn't figure out.

A wonderful mechanic who is always thorough and great communication. George will always check with you before doing any major repairs and will complete the service within the day.They do have a couple of loan cars if needed. Been going there for years and very happy.
