I'd give more than 5 stars! Seriously good Korean BBQ - it is more of a high-end korean BBQ restaurant. They use beauiful quality meat and the atmosphere is lovely.

Really nice Korean BBQ, great for large groups as they hold for functions. Food was lovely as the waitresses grill the meat for you.

An uptown restaurant with excellent service.
We chose to have the charcoal bbq, where we ordered the premium wagyu fillet, bulgogi and spicy pork belly. The waitress cooked the meat for us, cut it up and took the meat off the heat and put into a bowl once cooked. This was great as alot of places don't cook the meat for you properly and also leave it on the hot plate, which usually leads to overcooked meat. The grill plate was also changed in between each cut of meat. Our sides and water were topped up constantly without us needing to ask.
And most importantly the meat was cooked beautifully and was amazing! The quality was fantastic.

I found this place by accident. The smells from the street attracted me to this lovely resturant. The staff are very friends and great you. Service is prompt and staff are quick to explain dishes on the menu. The decor is lovely an modern, the building looks like an old renovated warehouse. The food was served quite quickly and tasted fresh and delicious. Great sized dishes and yummy desserts. This place is perfect for winter as it gets warm due to the BBq's in the resturant. This is a great place for either a date or to catch up with friends. I would definately come back here for a meal.

This is a beautiful Korean restaurant with fantastic barbecue facilities. The service is usually very good and you get to watch your food as it cooks. Be sure to try their green tea tiramisu cake or green tea icecream for dessert. Like most good restaurants in the city, be prepared to pay a little more as it is more on the fine dining side.

It's located in one of those tiny alley way, I would not normally go to these places but recently a friend recommended this place for a BBQ. It's a fine dining and prices are slightly more expensive. The portions were slightly smaller and we had to fight over the meats. The dipping sauce was delicious, complimented the meat and lettuce nicely. Service was excellent, the waitress was attentive and polite. And one good thing is that even though everyone was having BBQ, the place did not become smoky and I didn't come out of the restaurant smelling like roast meat.

I had the premium banquet - $45.00 pp. They served great food. even the service was excellent - the staff helped and cooked for us. Great side dishes too..

This is only my second time going to Korean barbeque and the food here was amazing. My friend made a booking for us on a Thursday night and luckily she did because when we got there after work, the place was pretty full - so I would definitely recommend making a booking if you can.

We had the marinated pork ribs and marinated beef with rice. The serving was just right for 2 people (it's basically the equivalent of 2 separate dishes). We also had a host of sides including, a light green salad with bean shoot, iceberg lettuce leaves, kimchi and other sauces and condiments. The sides really help balance out all the meat.

The service was very good and the staff were very friendly. The only negative thing I have to say about Guhng was that we ordered lemon lime and bitters, which ended up being $8 each and I thought that was very steep compared to every other place I've ever been too...

Other than that, great food and relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to others looking for a Korean barbeque restaurant in Melbourne CBD.
