I had to do a pre- employment medical for a new job,I emailed Gumdale Medical Centre with all the paperwork that was required for the medical. Before the medical I received a call from them saying they postponed the medical for two days later,when the day for the medical arrived I was told at the medical centre they couldn’t do everything that was on the medical (hearing test and drug test) and would have to be done somewhere else.I organised the other requirements myself,24hrs later the medical centre rang me saying they wanted the paperwork for the hearing and drug test (which had nothing to do with them as I sorted it myself). Very unorganised and delayed my work requirements. I contacted the medical on Friday lunch time only to be told they may call me on Monday.

Receptionist Staff are very friendly, but they did fail to let me know that the doctor I was seeing, Doctor NG, does not bulk bill for children. Had I known that, or rather been informed, I would have gone elsewhere as my daughter only had a niggling concern. After our 8 min appointment had ended I was informed by the above said staff that it would be $144 (as both my daughter and I had brief issues for the doctor- mine was a referral). When I asked why I wasn't informed that the doctor bulk billed (as the last time I was there, he had), there was a lot of silence and then, "well not all doctors charge the same, I didn't know your daughter was so young" etc etc etc. Please. The charges are inconsistent (in another case I had needed a script renewal - one doctor didn't charge for the consultation, the next time I got a different doctor and he did). I guess the point to this long winded review is be prepared to be ripped off, have inconsistent charges put upon you and I guess ask upfront before you show up, even if you are having the same appointment as last time, if your doctor charges. We definately WON'T be going back and I am telling as many people as possible to do the same.

I had newly moved to the area and have a newborn baby I chose Dr Webster as she has a shared care arrangement with the mater mothers hospital. I have been so impressed with this medical centre right from making our first appointment and dealing with Natalie and Taylor at the front desk through to seeing the wonderful doctor and the nurses. Nothing is ever too much trouble for these people. I've also had an emergency appointment with Dr Nixon for myself after he'd finished for the day. He didn't have to do it but he did- now that's great service. I'd recommend them to anyone AND they have a dentist Physio podiatrist dieticians more all in the one stop just in case I need them

WOW!! What can I say. I needed to find a new GP and did some online research and I liked what they said on their website, so went ahead and made an appointment. Everything they claim on the website is fulfilled. I arrived about 5 minutes prior to my appointment and checked in I had been able to download the new patient form and complete it before going so that saved a little time. The reception girls are just wonderful, very efficient without losing their friendliness. I didn't have to wait very long and was impressed with the Dr I had chosen. I needed to have physio and was given a choice of where I wanted to go, and I decided to try their in house "Activate Physiotherapy" and again I couldn't have asked for better - it was same day appointment. There are numerous services in this medical centre which is so convenient. I will certainly try their podiatrist next time. They are very well organised and professional in their approach to patients.
