If you know where the pancake joint was on bulcock st then head there.this place used to be inthe gemini inn but moved a few months ago.
Friday night ,parking in the st is a hit and miss . Lots of lovely sounding food on the menu .decor is a little dark but its in nice surroundings . Staff were helpful and attentive with our q of what some foods were like. We started with mo mo.pam frid pork dumplings with ginger ,onion and dipping sauce. That sauce was so dam good and I love dumplings, even my fussy partner enjoyd them. Lovely fresh flavours and not over steamed. $9.90
They have goat, chicken, beef dishes. I went for beef ,dont know if i can eat a cute goat lol. They do gluten free as well.
I chose the himalayan noodles with coconut sauce beges and herbs with beef. It was very tasty,a hit of flavour with every bite,a little watery for my taste but I did enjoy the flavours ,was cooked well.
My partner had the sherpa chicken, it looked and smelled divine.chicken curry in creamy sherpa sauce with veges. He enjoyed the unusual flavours of the veges with the fenugreek. A clean plate proves he loved it.
We ended the night with banana rolls $9.50. Theseare to die for.crispy banana roll with a plum sugar cream and vanilla smooth ice cream. Banana is in some sort of wrap but was delicious.
A good night out .drinks are the usual variety with the odd unusual one thrown in.. They do lunch and dinner open 7 days. Cost was about $80 for 2 of us.walked it off at the beach close by lol
