Took my golden retriever this morning. I was very nervous about leaving him with strangers. I am glad I did because the staff were very caring and he looks fantastic. He was not at all traumatised when I picked him up. The salon was air conditioned and spotless. All the dogs there looked at ease and beautifully groomed. I have now booked all three of my retrievers to go there on a regular basis.

Booked my dog for a full clip for 9am saturday morning. When I arrived I was told that I could not pick him up until 3pm. Dogs left in small cages till its their turn. If my dog was not going to be done till 3 why not have him booked in for 3. No way i am going to leave my pet in a small cage for 6 hours. Would be nice if they told new customers of their policy of having the pet for the whole day. NOT HAPPY.

My girls Minki and Grace always look a million bucks when they have had a day at Hair of the dog with Kim and the team. I have every confidence that they are well cared for during their stay. Minki especially is always absolutely filthy when she arrives but is the whitest sweet smelling pooch ever when I pick her up. Thanks ladies you're the best.

Kym and the team are the absolute best! The service is second to none. Dougie loves getting pampered at Hair of the Dog, and comes home looking like a champion each time.

We have been taking our little dog Charlie to Hair of the Dog regularly since he was a puppy, and he's now 4. We were referred by the vet who cared for him after he broke his leg twice. I was so scared to take him anywhere for grooming while he was recovering and with the pain he had experienced, but he was turning into a mop ;) I needed to know that the person grooming him just after he had recovered, would take that extra care. Well we found the right groomer and have never looked back! Kym has provided me with so much extra advice over the years in caring for Charlie, she is so much more than a dog groomer! and Charlie loves her and the other staff and can't wait to get up the stairs for his appointments :)

Our Maltese x ShihTzu has been regularly groomed at Hair of the Dog since we moved to Manly West last year and always comes home looking beautiful, usually with a bow in her hair and very happy after her experience there. My little Jack Russell "Tasha" just loves going to Hair Of The Dog Groomers. She knows as soon as we get out of the car at the salon where she is going and gets all excited and she can't wait to get inside. She always comes home looking a whole new dog and if anything more relaxed. Thanks to all the staff who attend to Tasha and I can't fault them in any area.

Kim and the girls at Hair of the dog did a fantastic job grooming 'Harry Who ' a Maltese x Silky .They are fast and efficient and Harry always come home looking great and very happy. Great prices, local business and fantastic award winning dog grooming skills.

With the most anxious, neurotic little dog on the planet, we are always worried about taking him places. Kym and the girls are just amazing. They go far and beyond to make such a difficult little man comfortable and happy during his visits each and every time. Their workmanship is outstanding and the prices fantastic. Our precious little guy is welcomed warmly and made to feel so very special. The salon is always so clean and it is hard to believe how fresh it smells considering it is inundated with wet dogs all day! Best groomers around!!
